These guys are awesome! They are honest and won't try to sell you any unnecessary services like some shops! You might have to schedule a week or two in advance but it would be worth it.

What a find!!My check engine light came on and I had been loosing tons of coolant. I had a Jiffy Lube pull the code and it was for a leaky gasket head.I took my 2001 Mustang to Paul's to see what the extent of the damage was and what the repair would cost. They ran extensive diagnostics but only charged me for the initial hour of work that was on my quote. Mechanic friends of mine verified there is no way the work could have been finished in an hour. Paul's, however, did not jack up the cost when they had to do a bit of extra work. The guys here are super nice. As a woman, I always brace for dealing with mechanics. I believe these guys were straightforward and treated me like they would a guy.Highly recommend this shop.

I ended up going back to Paul's after going to another mechanic for a few years who I thought I could trust. Well, I couldn't!So, I made an appointment with Paul's and remembered what I loved about them: They are honest. They don't talk down to you. They do what they say they'll do.The only issue I still have is if your car breaks down, it may take a few days to get in. Otherwise, they're great.

Paul's is a busy place, because they are very good at what they do. When my cousin closed his auto shop he sent me to Paul's. That was ten years ago. Paul works there so it's easy to talk to the owner if you have any questions. The service is great. It's not the cheapest but they stand by their work. Lately they have been overwhelmed with business. The last time I called, the best they could do was get me in in a week. I take that as a good sign, like a line out the door at your favorite restaurant.

Sadly, I am the stereotypical woman who knows absolutely nothing about cars. I have been ripped off, lied to, and even hit on buy car repair guys/places in the past. I thought I would NEVER find a repair place I could trust, until ..... I found Paul's Automotive Inc.! My husband visited them first a few years back, he needed some work done to his truck and a neighbor recommended Paul's. He was very happy with the work they did so the next time I had a car problem, I decided to give them a whirl. I was not expecting much given my horrible experiences in the past; however I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff at Paul's was friendly, they identified the ACTUAL PROBLEM, not just a bunch of stuff to fix and charge me for, and they fixed it and got me in and out the same day. I recently visited them again for another issue (my poor car is a 2001 and is starting to show her age) and again it was a seamless transaction. The initial charge to look it over was $55 (not $90 like most other places) they called and told me all the issues they found and explained which things are vital to fix and which things are not really necessary. Then they fixed the problem (and did some extra work to repair a bad brake job I had in the past) and called me a few hours later. Each time I have picked my car up from Paul's, I can feel the difference in the way my car drives as soon as I drive away, I love this as it lets me know I am not just throwing money down the drain. Paul's Automotive Inc. has restored my faith in the automotive repair industry and I plan to continue to use them as long as they are around. They are honest and do quality work. I have referred many friends to Paul's and they have all been happy customers. I really can't say enough good things about them, if you have a car problem give them a try, it is very likely that you will never visit another car repair place again.

Nice guys. Had to schedule about a week in advance for an appointment--which isn't a negative, in my opinion, as it signifies that they must be doing something right.Got my oil changed and tires rotated/brakes inspected. They called me mid-service to politely suggest a new air filter (it had been about 7k miles, after all) and synthetic oil (because my sticker showed that was the last oil I used--plus, I prefer it). Essentially, they just wanted to properly re-quote me and get the green light to do what needed to be done. Also, they documented that my brakes are "in very good condition front and rear" and will last at least another 2 years. They didn't try to sell me on anything; my impression is therefore that their workmanship sells itself.

I have been a customer for over 20 years and I can't say enough good things about Paul's. Mike really came through for me during a tough time and I trust no one else with my Santa Fe that my kids affectionately call "the tooth" I understand enough about engines to know they care about their customers and treat us with such respect and understand some repairs can be really costly, they do what they can to help. After my a/c compressor went out and Mike went above and beyond, I won't trust the tooth any anybody else's hands for even an oil change! Thanks guys!

This place doesn't need more Five Stars, but there is no other option for absolutely fantastic. I like this place because they are honest, kind and did I mention...honest? Yes, I did. Because they are and when it comes to your car, it is important.I like it, too, because it is close to my house. It is so nice to have a trusted mechanic nearby that I can walk to pick up my car when it's done. Don't need the stress of a rental or asking a friend to be on hand when you need a ride.Their competency shines through as does their professionalism. Highly recommended.

These guys really are as great as the Yelp reviews say. I was nervous going in. My car, since age 16, went to the same little shop in my Kentucky hometown so taking it somewhere new, to people I didn't know, was really unnerving. After finding Paul's on here, I walked in with my Nissan Versa needing it's first smog check (new to Cali) and with it making the most horrendous noise ever. Since I walked in during a busy weekday afternoon, they warned me about the wait and were kind enough to send me to N Street Cafe around the corner. They stayed late until they were sure that the noise was a rusted out muffler and then proceeded to stay later to order the part for me. Now I have an appointment to get my car fixed up on Monday. They are really friendly and considerate, especially important to me because I know nothing about cars. The prices were really great too for the service. I am so happy I have a new place to take my car!

I've gone here for a couple years now and I've been blown away by Paul's friendly, informative and HONEST staff! I'm weary of auto shops because I don't have a lot of advanced knowledge about cars. Usually I take my car in to other auto body shops to get an estimate...... and then consult with a more knowledgable person about whether I'm getting screwed over or not... with Paul's, I'm confident I'm getting a fair price for labor and reliable service/quality!!!I took my car to get serviced a couple weeks ago (spark plug issue).. and then a couple weeks later my car's check engine light came on again. I took it back to Paul's and they determined there was something else going on with the spark plug mechanism that they hadn't caught before. They completely rewired the unit and DIDN'T CHARGE ME A DIME for it. So honest. I will be a customer for life!
