Over pricey in my opinion! The dealer gave me a better price for the same issue. The front desk receptionist was incredible that he ended up calling the dealer himself to compare prices. Embarrassing in my opinion because I showed him the hand receipt I got from them…
Hi Vicente, Thank you so much for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate your honesty. First, we’re very glad to hear that you had a positive interaction with our front desk team — we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words. Providing clear and helpful service is very important to us. Regarding the pricing comparison, we completely understand how frustrating it can feel when numbers don’t seem to line up. When our service advisor called the dealership directly, he learned that their original quote did not include the labor to install both the sway bar links and the tie rod ends — which I'm sure was simply an oversight on their part. Once that additional labor was added in, the total came out to be the same as our estimate. We also discovered that the dealership’s quote did not include a wheel alignment, which was included in ours. A wheel alignment is necessary after replacing tie rod ends to ensure proper steering geometry. Skipping this step can lead to severe and rapid tire wear, as well as poor handling and safety concerns. We always include it because we want to make sure the repair is done completely and correctly the first time and we want our customers to be safe. We’re sorry that the situation felt embarrassing — that certainly wasn’t our intention. Our goal in calling the dealership was simply to make sure you had accurate, apples-to-apples information so you could make the best decision for yourself. If you’d like to discuss this further, we’re always happy to talk. We truly value your business and the opportunity to serve you.
