Even though it's a bit of a haul to get there , I've been taking my old '87 Fiero to Paul's every now and then for the past 20 years. They are fair, knowledgeable, will detail your problem, and work with you towards finding the most economical repair approach. Although prices do not seem cheap, I realize the only way to get cheap auto repair is to do it yourself or run a great risk of shoddy workmanship by taking it to a place that advertises cheap repairs. Regardless, they certainly cost less than going to the GM dealer. Highly recommended.
