We've been taking our vehicles to Paul's for a number of years now. Paul's is honest and direct. He spotted mistakes from the dealer and fixed them. He helped us with getting repairs that the manufacturer put out a service bulletin on. He sent us elsewhere for tires and plainly says that he cannot compete with certain warehouse prices on them. Honestly, integrity, and directness. You'll be returning to Paul's for auto service!

Brought my car in today and will always be pleased with the service. it was a small fix and so Paul did it for free. They always do a great job when I bring my car in. I have been a customer since i bought the car.

I love Paul's Automotive Inc.. I never feel like I am being taken advantage of, and have even been told that noises and such are 'annoying but not unsafe so not worth the $$ to fix'. Paul is as honest as they come and worth the wait to get my car worked on here. If Icould give 10 stars I would!

I have a 1997 Nissan 200sx automatic. It needed a new ignition cylinder on the steering column, it had a cracked belt, it failed smog, it had a dashboard light saying "Service Engine Soon," and it needed an oil change.Paul handled all of the car's problems, did it in a prompt manner (within a day and a half) and for a reasonable price. The new ignition cylinder was installed cleanly (no cracks or scratches on the steering column, and the ignition key operation is butter-smooth), the belt was replaced, the oil change performed, the dashboard light is now off, and the car passed smog because Paul located the problem and fixed it. Paul advised me that the car would need the power steering hoses replaced and new axles, but that it could wait until later depending on annual mileage.Excellent service. If you have a junky car and you want to make it live for another 36 months, see Paul at least once a year. It's much cheaper than paying a bank $3,600 per year on a new car loan. And even if you have a newer model car whose warranty just expired, and you want dealer-quality service without the attitude and price, go see Paul.

Blew a tire today. Took my car in expecting to pay for the patching or the tire change. Mike, one of the mechanics, was nice enough to help me with the tire change and didn't charge me. Their helpful, quick, and friendly service just got them a new customer!

These folks u-l-t-i-m-a-t-e-l-y do very good work. This was the second time I had them repair my 1992 Toyota pickup and both times their work was fairly priced. The first repair (worn bearings) was uneventful but the second one (to replace the clutch) started out poorly. When I picked the truck up there was something wrong with the clutch. It wouldn't shift easily into gear and when I first engaged the clutch and started out it would jackrabbit and stall out. I immediately brought it back to the shop to complain and when I rode with the mechanic to review the problems (it also shuddered) he got defensive and told me that it seemed "damned" good to him. He told me to drive it 500 miles and if there were still problems to bring it back. After a weekend of listening to the gears clattering whenever I shifted from fourth to fifth gears I called them to repair their repair. They were busy and I had to wait about one week to get it worked on (they first asked if I were able to drive it in the meantime, which I was). So far, so bad... now the good news...When I brought the truck back I dealt with a different mechanic and after evaluating the truck he acknowledged that there was something wrong and replaced the clutch they had previously installed. He said the first clutch they installed was defective and that may well have been the case, although the defensiveness of the mechanic when I first complained makes me think that maybe he just plain, flat out didn't do a very good job.Anyway, the second clutch they installed works perfectly and they didn't charge me for re-repairing the clutch.Small garages like Paul's, unlike dealerships that use full--time service managers to handle customers (and jack up costs), don't usually have the polish of a dealership "service" professional. What they have going for them is limiting themselves to doing only what is necessary, doing it well and charging a fair price.Given the problems I initially had with this last repair one might wonder why I gave these folks five stars. It comes down to admitting their first attempt wasn't good, making it right and not trying to charge me extra to correct the problem. To me, that's what integrity looks like.

Based on other reviews here we decided to take our car in to Paul's for the first time last week. We were concerned about noisy brakes, and also needed an oil change and tire rotation. They determined that the brakes were fine and in good shape; just noisy which sometimes happens. They did not suggest any unneeded work. The whole bill came to about $80. Based on that I confirm other reviewers' opinion that Paul's Automotive Inc. is HONEST and reasonably priced. We will be using Paul's for our special maintenance work in the future. They aren't incredibly good communicators, or maybe it was just an off day for us, but I recommend that you be very clear why you are bringing in the car, what you expect, and etc.
