I have not had work done here but yet I must write a review about Paul and his team! My car was having a couple of issues, so I e-mailed a few auto shops around town to see who could help me with what. Unfortunately, Paul couldn't fix my car BUT not only did he e-mail back within MINUTES(waaaaay after shop hours, too!) with a full explanation of what was going on with my car, he also referred me to a couple of other shops that could help me! I would highly recommend Paul and his team to ANYONE! Talk about kind people and AMAZING customer service!

I had the misfortune of having a bad leak in my cooling system about 4 months ago and stumbled (spewing steam) into Paul's to get an estimate. Paul himself looked at my car, explained my specific model had a common problem with a plastic part, put his finger right on it, and gave me a very fair estimate. The work was done promptly and under estimate. I have been looking for a neighborhood garage and I found one! Paul's is a great place to get your car repairs done!

I went to Pauls to get my 30,000 service on my Honda insight. They were fantastic, and a little over half the price of what the dealerships were going to charge me. They even vacuumed out my car for me, something the real mechanics don't usually do in my experience. Paul was kind and talkative. Whoot for Yelp recommending Pauls!

Brought my car in to Paul's to fix a problem that another mechanic couldn't even diagnose. Paul's figured it out very quickly and got it fixed. My wife and I have brought our cars here on three different occasions and have had a good experience every time. Prices are good and the service is great!

I needed a last minute oil change and Mike got me in and got everything done in less than an hour. He called to ask if I wanted to replace the air filter but did let me know that it would be okay if I waited. When I got back to pick up the car, I asked if they did the 45,000 mile tune-up that Subaru suggests. He said they did but when they worked on the car everything was in tip top shape and all I would need to do is balance the tires and that I didn't need that full service... thus saving me a LOT of money.To have an auto place tell me that I DON'T need to spend a ton of cash and to recommend something that is a lot cheaper is quite refreshing given some of the places I've dealt with in the past. Kudos to Paul's... they now have a new customer for life!

I've been here twice, and great service each time! The workers are very friendly, and nice, and the best part, is they really care about you. I went to another auto place in town (which shall remain nameless), and before they would even take a look at my car, they demanded i pay something upfront. Paul's Automotive Inc. looked at my car for free, which I greatly appreciated! And then when they fixed my car's problem, the service charge and car part price was super reasonable! Definietely will be going back, and letting all of my friends who are car inept like myself know about this place. Thanks Paul, for being the few honest, great autoshops in Sacramento!

I was looking for a new auto mechanic in Midtown and went to Paul's based on the reviews here. I had a thoroughly positive experience with Paul's Automotive Inc. and I will definitely be using their services again. Not only did I receive excellent customer service from Paul himself, he knows his craft well and answered all the questions I had and explained what needed to be done to my car without trying to oversell me on anything. He repaired a brake problem with my car that another mechanic had screwed up and in the end, the total bill for my vehicle was WAY less than I had anticipated. From here one out, I will only take my car to Paul's as he earned my trust in just one visit to his shop. Thanks Paul!!

I recommend Paul's Automotive Inc. every chance I get. Growing up the only girl among a bunch of boys in my family (between brother and cousins), someone was always tinkering with something greasy. My uncle was a diesel mechanic and the boys had free access to all the tools a man could dream up in his garage. So when it comes to auto repairs I can be very leary of people who call themselves mechanics. I want proof! Well, I gotta tell you, these guys are tried and true mechanical professionals. From the first time I brought my little mighty max truck into them until today, they have always been professional, trustworthy and courteous. When Paul suggests something to me I take his advice like it was my own uncle Pat's advice and trust he isn't B.S.ing me. All the guys are helpful, knowlegable and considerate of your time. Let me start off by saying I have never left an auto repair shop happy until I decided to take my car to Paul's. Nice guys, convenient location, no up-sell, honest pricing, good work, and safety conscious. #1 Turned out the problem didn't actually need to be fixed and they told me so.#2 Cut the labor down to 1/2 hour rather than round up.#3 Found some other problems, told me about them but no pressure--just recommended that the safety issues get fixed.#4 They noticed the tires were low, so they inflated them for free.Just an awesome shop. I brought my car here last month after the "service engine soon" light came on. You definitely need to make an appointment ahead of time, but it's worth waiting a few days. My car had a few different issues that added up to the light turning on, and they did a really thorough job finding and fixing them all. They do charge to diagnose the check engine light, but overall I didn't pay any more than I expected to. They seemed to care about keeping costs down for the customer. My car was done by mid-afternoon, and Paul explained everything very clearly and patiently, both over the phone when he called with an update and when I came to pick up the car. As a woman who doesn't know a lot about cars (blah, walking stereotype, I know), I'm always nervous about finding a new mechanic, but Paul's was awesome. I'll absolutely take my car back to them.
